Introducing a family of universal SMT lead form and trim systems for processing two- and four-sided flatpacks into a gullwing configuration. Two models are available that process one side of a package per press stroke for high mix, low volume production and R&D requirements. Higher production requirements can be met with our two-sided FLEX system that processes two sides of a package per press stroke with optional mechanical loading and unloading.

- Put gullwing forms on almost any flat package 2 of 4 sided, changing all dimensions.

- Adjustable back stop with linear slide holds package cases parallel for accurate registration.
- All models process top brazed, side exit or bottom brazed packages with optional parts.
- Micrometers on all models for ease of setup. Inch standard, metric optional.
- Easy to change die members for large variations in lead material thickness, hardness, or shape.
- Standard tools handle up to 2.5” packages.
- Large tools handle up to 4” packages.

- Adjustable tip-to-tip length using hand wheel and precision ball screw with digital readout and anti-backlash feature
- Simple changeover of four die members to vary all critical dimensions for most SMT footprints and packages, including plastic packages and large packages
- Automatic standoff control with patented, electronic floating anvil design
- Optional centering station with manual loader for higher throughput and hands-off operations.

* Three models are available. The standard model processes packages with body length up to 2.000", large model up to 3.000", and Jedec system for plastic packages with short shoulders.
